Addiction and

I have a rich clinical background in working with individuals and their families facing addiction related issues. It is my belief and experience that, just as our lives follow a developmental cycle, so does addiction and recovery follow it’s own unique developmental cycle and I work with individuals and their families struggling with addiction related issues in this context. I very much support 12-step work. I also work from a family systems perspective, believing that, if at all possible, it is important when there is an individual in the family struggling with addiction that family members receive support and education around addiction related issues. Addiction impacts the entire family and family education and involvement supports recovery from addiction for all involved.
I am currently on staff as an Associate Therapist with The Addiction’s Institute out of Menlo Park, California.
